Get Ready for 2025 AEC Acoustics Events!
While you're in the process of planning for next year, it's the perfect time to prepare your budget and calendar for 2025 AEC Acoustics events!
Two AEC Acoustics events are planned next year:
Best Practice Roundtables: Sunday, April 27 - Friday, May 2, 2025.
Leadership Retreat: Sunday, October 26 - Friday, October 31, 2025.
Why Acoustics? We're the quieter, "unplugged" versions of the typical AEC conference event. We aren't going to be trapped inside. No lanyards, PowerPoint, or marketing sales pitches. T-shirts and tennis shoes are perfectly fine. We're getting back to basics surrounded by nature. Professional, yet casual. AEC Acoustics events are limited to 40 attendees and family friendly with counselor lead activities for ages K-5.
Here's the highlights video from our fall 2024 Leadership Retreat:
Who Should Attend?
The AEC Acoustics Best Practice Roundtables is for technical subject matter experts, solution providers, and business decision makers who help create the built environment.
BIM Managers
Technical Training, Implementation and Support Specialists
Small Business Owners
We're are about the conversations after the presentations. The "best" answer to difficult technology challenges depends on context, project requirements, workflow goals, and more. Conversations create room for questions, consensus, and clarity. One-size-fits-all solutions don't work and trial and error creates expensive risk that projects can't afford. We're about best-in-class solutions across a variety or tools, technologies and teams. Experienced, real-world feedback saves time, increases RIO and create the best buildings possible.
Conversations Not Presentations
The AEC Acoustics Leadership Retreat is for people who not only manage Technology, but also manage Teams.
Project Managers
Technology Directors
Business Owners
High preforming Technologists are frequently elevated to make the transition to managing people. But we soon learn the "features" we developed managing Technology often become "bugs" when leading Teams. High Stress <> Low Control is frequently experienced when leading teams that design, engineer and construct buildings and infrastructure. Deadlines are tight, reputations at risk, and budgets are on the line. Reframing your expectations, developing soft skills, and learning to delegate and trust is the key for success for yourself and others.
Better Leadership of Self and Others
Wonderful Meals, Exquisitely Prepared.
You won't be looking at your cell phone while you eat! Gives us the opportunity to slow down and enjoy good conversation with our industry peers. And with over 40 years culinary experience, Chef Charles Semail expects us to be pleasantly surprised at each gathering. Meals are served family style amid group seating that creates the opportunity for relaxed conversation. Someone remarked, "We're eating Instagramable meals on camp plates!
